AD BANNER
Welcome to the home of GUNRUNNER, your Brentwood based Classic Rock and Blues Covers band, and thanks for dropping in.
So to those who have never seen or heard us,what can you expect from Gunrunner?? Easy! Covers of all those rock band Classics from, amongst others, Cream (the bands speciality), Eric Clapton, Bad Company, Mountain,Free, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Wishbone Ash, The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Thin Lizzy, the Yardbirds, and The Spencer Davis Group. We also do the Blues; Howling Wolf, Albert King and Muddy Waters to be precise. So, if you like your Rock bluesy, and your Blues rocky, we're the band for you..its loud, its edgy but with soul and plenty of light and shade. Listen to our dowloads and you'll see what we mean.
After several years in the making Gunrunner have formed an associate band, "CREAMFUL", and we will be dedicated to playing only Cream classics. The new bands website can be found at
http://www.steppingout.altpro.net
Please leave us a message on the site, and regsiter on our mailing list (the Register box is six inches up and to the left of where you are reading this, so no excuses!!) for further details of the band and their gigs. You may have some song suggestions for the band...feel free to let us know what you want and we'll see what we can do!
Enjoy the site, and hope to see you soon at a gig near you ! GUNRUNNER.

Heres a few tracks recorded from our live shows, live uncut studio rehearsals, and some recent Cream covers studio recordings. Hope you enjoy them!
As a bit of background information, Outside Woman Blues and Lawdy Mama are both very early Cream songs, themselves covers of Blues originals, and Rolling Man is an early Peter Green Fleetwood Mac blues shuffle, again a blues cover.
I Aint Superstitious is a cover of the powerful Howling Wolf blues classic, and of course Lucille is one of the great 50s Rock & Roll gems originally done by Little Richard.
Bright Lights Big City is a Jimmy Reed original (the original master of the 12-bar blues format -he also wrote the Gary Moore classic Walking By Myself), and Black Magic Woman needs no introduction. Originally a Fleetwood Mac favourite, Santana had a huge hit with the song after putting their inimitable latin stamp on the rhythm, and that is the version GUNRUNNER have adopted.
Strange Brew and Sunshine are two the bands favourite live songs, and here are the studio recording versions (thanks Ray at Farm Studios).
Enjoy!
